Everyone can do a chin up… the same way everyone has the capacity to squat, lunge and do a push up!

Of course, over time, we lose some of those abilities because of lack or practice! However, the chin ups is as important to the upper body as a squat is to the lower body!

There is a gradual progression to getting to do a body weight chin up.

We use big, thick elastic superbands attached to an overhead structure. Step up onto a high platform and place your knee or step onto the elastic with your foot and grab a hold of the overhead chin up bar.

From there, jump up using your arms to get to the top position, slowly lower yourself down. Jump back up and you will be surprised how much the thick elastic superband will help you up!

This requires supervision but practicing the assisted chin up, we can surely get back to the original strength we once had!
