What I learned from training 2 brilliant young talents!

Summer came and went and when their respective teams call they will be gone but not without leaving behind a huge impression on everyone they touched here @ The SPORT Specialists inc!

Kurt Etchegary, captain of the Remparts du Quebec QMJHL hockey team and best buddy and all around beast of a defenseman, Matt Lourenco, trained at our studio over the course of the summer in preparation for their upcoming seasons.

They brought with them the fiery desire to be the best at what they do and they worked hard to get there. In doing so they:

Motivated others around them to train for their respective goals harder! People training at our studio with their different objectives and no choice but to up the work ethic knowing that they will reap the rewards in the near future
Shook hands with some youngsters aspiring to be great hockey players when their time comes
Showed that friendship means everything! With a little healthy competition, Kurt and Matt, friends since they were wee little tikes, stuck together through thick and thin and it showed how they cared how much better they knew the other could become!
Rain or shine, they knew what had to be done. With goals in sight, the laser beam focus on what was waiting for them this upcoming season helped them concentrate on the necessities and work through the many distractions.
Reminded me of my youth and my hockey years and rekindled a bit of a fire in me so I can play this upcoming season as well as any that I have played!

Thanks Kurt and Matt for an amazing summer 2014 and looking forward to both of you making a dent this coming season!
