Starch-less Supper!
Here is a fun way to add some taste to your starch-less supper!
This whole meal took the better part of 15 minutes!
What you will need:
- Salmon
- olive oil
- crackled pepper to sprinkle
- coarse sea salt to sprinkle
- 1/2 avocado
- spinach leaves
- gala apple
- cherry tomatoes
- stuffed olives of your choice
- set oven at 375F
- brush olive oil onto the fish and sprinkle with crackled pepper and sea salt to taste
- place in the oven for 15 minutes or until top of salmon gets golden brown
- in the mean time, prepare the salad: place spinach leaves on a plate, place cherry tomatoes, stuffed olives and diced gala apple on the salad. Cut an avocado in 1/2. Sprinkle with a bit of seas salt, crackled pepper and if you so wish, a drizzle of truffle oil for taste.
Voila!! A starch-less supper to your taste in 15 minutes flat! You will find yourself making this one often because of its taste and simplicity when pressed for time! You can replace the salmon with trout or other oily fish.
