Some tips for your forearms

The forearms are not unlike the calves.  They do a lot of work and really don’t get pampered the way they should.

Here are 3 easy ways you can release tension in your forearm.  All you need is a rolling pin!

  • Place the rolling pin on a table or arm rest. Roll the front portion of your forearm on the rolling pin between 30-60 seconds. This will help release tension on the forearm flexors, which are used 24/7!
  • Turn your arm upside-down and roll / massage the back side of the forearm. You may have to turn your body a bit more than usual so you don’t end up massaging the forearm bone, as that will be quite painful!
  • Grab the handle portion of the rolling pin. Keep your elbow at 90 degrees and rotate the rolling pin back and forth to lubricate the rotational muscles and joints of your wrist and elbow.  Do this 30x as well.
