Don’t let bad days get you down!
Yesterday was not a good day! I had gone to bed too late the night before, had to get up at 5:15am to go to work, planned to work out before having to leave to pick up the girls but that simply did not pan out. Put on my “taxi mom” cape and proceeded to go to and from activities until 8:30pm and actually only achieved 5000 steps. I could of gone for a walk or done a home workout after the girls went to bed, but I opted instead to make a cup of David’s tea – chocolate rocket – one of my favorites and sat down on the couch to watch mindless television before going to bed early. Sometimes you have to accept that your day does not always work out the way you planned. Do not get discouraged but get right back on track.
Today went much better, did a quick strength workout before work, did our TUNE UP class during lunch which always makes me feel more flexible, stable and a little taller and followed all the nutrition rules. I got home early enough to read to the girls before bed and now I am going to enjoy another cup of tea, without any guilt today!
